Fastpitch Visiting Team – Cancellations (When GYSA team is on the road)

1. GYSA Visiting Team Head Coach will be contacted by the Home Team Head Coach announcing a cancellation
2. GYSA Visiting Team Head Coach is responsible for contacting players and the GYSA Umpire in Chief
3. GYSA Umpire in Chief is responsible for contacting the GYSA Communication Committee and WCSL Town Representative.
4. GYSA Communication Committee is responsible for posting all cancellations on the website and social media
5. Home Team Head Coach is responsible for contacting the Visiting Team Head Coach regarding rescheduling.

Fastpitch GYSA Home Team – Cancellations (When GYSA team is home)

1. One of three GYSA Executive Board Members including President, Vice President – Fastpitch Division, or Umpire in Chief will inspect the fields and make a cancellation decision by 4:00 pm.
2. GYSA Umpire in Chief is notified of any cancellation by the GYSA President or Vice President – Fastpitch Division if they are not directly included in the cancellation decision.
3. GYSA Umpire in Chief is responsible for contacting the GYSA Home Team Head Coach and the GYSA Communication Committee
4. Home Team Head Coach is responsible for contacting the Visiting Team Head Coach and Home Team Players
5. GYSA Communication Committee is responsible for notifying the WCSL Town Representative to close concessions
6. GYSA Communication Committee is responsible for posting all cancellations on website and social media

Fastpitch GYSA Visiting Team – Rescheduling (When GYSA team is on the road)

1. Home Team Head Coach provides the GYSA Visiting Team Head Coach with two options.
2. Upon approval of the new date, the GYSA Visiting Team Head Coach is responsible for notifying the GYSA Umpire in Chief and their players.
3. GYSA Umpire in Chief is responsible for contacting the GYSA Communication Committee and WCSL Town Representative.
4. GYSA Communication Committee is responsible for posting all schedule updates on the website and social media

1. GYSA Home Team Head Coach reviews the GYSA website calendar for field openings and provides the Visiting Team Head Coach with two options.
2. Once a new date is agreed upon, the Home Team Head Coach submits the rescheduled date to the GYSA Umpire in Chief for approval.
3. Upon approval of the new date, the Home Team Head Coach is responsible for notifying the Visiting Team Head Coach and the Home Team Players
4. The GYSA Umpire in Chief is responsible for contacting the GYSA Communications Committee and the GYSA Treasurer in order to reschedule concessions.
5. GYSA Communication Committee is responsible for posting all schedule updates on the website and social media

Slow Pitch & Instructional League - Cancellations
