8u & 10u Fastpitch Player Evaluation Day Saturday March 6th at GMS Gym

The 8u & 10u Fastpitch Player Evaluation Day will be held Saturday March 6th at the Greencastle Middle School Gymnasium. The 8u session will start at 9:00am followed by the 10u session at 10:00am.

Fastpitch Player Evaluation day provides 8u & 10u players with the ability to meet their prospective coaches as well as participate in a few skills and conditioning drills. Players should bring their ball glove, face mask, helmet, and bat.

Tennis shoes must be worn since the skills and conditioning drills will be held in the gymnasium. Players will not be allowed to participate wearing cleats.

All Greencastle School Corporation guidelines will be followed regarding mask wearing and social distancing as tryouts will be held on school property.

Fastpitch Important Dates

The Fastpitch Coaches Meeting and draft is scheduled for 6:30 pm on March 10th at Greencastle Middle School.

Following this meeting, coaches will receive their official rosters and begin to contact parents. Coaches will be asked to notify parents by March 16th. Coaches have the option to begin practice the week of March 15th, but many often choose to start after Spring Break.

Opening Day and team pictures are scheduled for Saturday April 17th.
